Availability, Working Hours and Breaks

My general availability is 7 days a week, from 9am until midnight. But it is impossible to do massages all day and every day due to it being a physically demanding task. Therefore I have breaks in between. And of course there are other things to do such as run errands, attend personal appointments, events etc.

Advanced bookings are always best, and when it comes to same day bookings, the more notice the better. Some clients such hectic and varying schedules that they can only leave things to chance and contact with me with short notice, and check if I am available. Others pre-plan and make advanced bookings. I try my best to accommodate all clients, but sometimes, I have to give certain clients a miss, if I am too tired after just finishing a massage, or have had 2 back to back appointments, or if I am away from the massage studio and cannot get back on time.

Most bookings are made on the day, and clients contact me to check if I am available. I don't advertise much as massage is a part time job for me, and my times are flexible as I am a freelancer. Therefore I am generally able to take most bookings and rarely have to turn a client down.

Clients who want to meet outside my working hours (that is before 9am or after midnight) will have to make an advanced booking and pay at least 50% of the fee upfront.  I cannot accept an advanced booking without some sort of a guarantee. So basically, you contact me with the date and time you want to meet and I will send you details on how to secure your booking. It is easy and simple.

Same Day Bookings and Advanced Bookings

For same-day bookings, all you have to do is call or text me (I'm also on what's app!) with at least 1 hour's notice. The more notice the better in fact, but an hour's notice is reasonable. Sometimes, I may be available at shorter notice too.

For advanced bookings on a future date, all you have to do is contact me with the date and time you would like to meet, and I will send you my address and bank details. You transfer the fee for the massage treatment you want and let me know as soon as you've done so. I will then confirm the booking and your slot will be secured.

For those clients who don't want to pay upfront and secure a booking for a future date, I always say "contact me on the day you want to meet and check if I am available." I'm flexible and do my best to accommodate every client that contacts me. But needless to add, one has to rest between massage bookings due to the work being physically demanding.

My Signature Treatment

Customers often ask for an explanation of my unique 3 step massage treatment. It is a mixture of 3 different styles; Sri Lankan, Thai and Keralan.

I came up with this treatment after learning the different types of massage techniques in different regions; mainly East Asia and South Asia.

A 60 minute or 90 minute treatment is recommended to experience the full benefits of this massage session. Clients have often told me that they have never experienced this type of treatment in the past. A regular client of mine who is well-travelled and has been to Thailand, Sri Lanka and India has had massages on a regular basis.

The first time he visited me, he was very pleased with the fact that this treatment of mine included movements and techniques that he had experienced in different countries. So that was very satisfying for me as there's nothing that makes me happier than seeing a client duly satisfied with the treatment he has paid for, and of course comes back for more!

During my unique 3 step treatment, I use both short and long strokes, circular and and also "zig-zag" type movements. I use my hands; palms, knuckles, fingers, and then move on to using my elbows and arms, and towards the end, use my knees and feet.

Click Here for a detailed explanation of this treatment.

RATES are £80 for 60 minutes or £100 for 90 minutes.

For bookings please call  078 7386 1344

Thank you.

Benefits of Back Massage and Helping Target Back Pain

Massage was once considered a luxury - something you’d enjoy at a spa or health club. However, the benefit of a massage is now considered a more mainstream therapy and is also recommended by certain doctors and other medical professionals. Massage can be part of an overall wellness program. One of the most common conditions people suffer from is back pain. And beneficial parts of the body for massage is the back, since the nerves run through the spine.

Relieve Lower Back Pain

A good back massage can help relieve lower back pain. After a strenuous workout or sitting at a desk all day, your back muscles are likely to be tense from overuse or repetitive use. So when I treat those muscles, some of the tension is released.

Relieves Tension from Upper Back

Repetitive motion or immobility may cause neck and shoulder pain. An upper back massage may help relieve the tension in that area and reduce the pain from migraines.

Releases “Feel Good” Chemicals

A back massage stimulates the production of endorphins, dopamine and serotonin, chemicals that make the body feel good. This helps manage pain and may allow you to reduce the amount of pain-killers you take, if any. A back massage can help decrease pain in the lower back, which may also help prevent anxiety and depression.

Improves Sleep

The back massage relaxes the larger muscles and relieves tension that may be causing you to have a difficult time falling asleep or staying in a deep sleep. This allows you to have full sleep cycles necessary for optimum performance and good health.

Helps the Healing Process

Even after a long history of back pain, a massage can help heal the tissues and muscles that have become tight, weak or atrophied. This will in turn improve your range of motion. According to Massagetherapy.com, it also helps reduce stretch marks and scar tissue. Athletes who have strained muscles in the lower, middle and upper back may notice increased joint flexibility after a back massage.

Increase Circulation

A back massage stimulates circulation and increases blood flow to the area. This will help bring blood with oxygen and nutrients to the muscles and major organs.

Feels Good

One of the best benefits of a back massage is that it feels good. Sometimes you just need to take a little time to relax and enjoy the pleasurable sensation of the human touch.
